Once you activate the solenoid they push the door open for you since they are spring activated. Like Craig said, trade doors with someone, if you want to get rid of the shaved handles. The only real problem I had though was that they never said to put a 10 gauge wire from the solenoid to ground, it smoked a solenoid but they replaced it right away free of charge. My poppers are installed at the bottom corner near the door sill plate, just before the QTR panel starts i do not have a pic. There is a cross-brace running behind the cab connecting the two B-pillars. We placed the hinge pocket over the latch striker hole and transferred its shape onto the B-pillar. Tyler Cruz is offline. The stock hinges used to mount in the middle of the door edge. Although not what I had originally intended, I found my peace with the fact that the project was spiraling out of control, and have since embraced it wholeheartedly. We used a flat file to straighten our cuts and any fine tuning that was necessary.
